Rae laughed a bit. “Don’t worry. After tonight I don’t think I’ll ever touch another horror movie again… Well, at least not Halloween…” She sat down on the couch patting the seat next to her. “We could watch J. Edgar, or Batman, or 50/50. It’s up to you.”

Nico nodded with a soft chuckle and sat next to her, putting the bag between them. “I feel like 50/50 would make me cry.” He admitted with a chuckle. “I vote Batman..” He decided finally, “If that’s cool with you.”

Rae smiled. “Hey, um, you wanna come in?” She opened the door a little more and stepped back. “We could watch movies or something…”

Nico nodded immediatly and grinned. “Absolutely!” He responded and stepped in, taking his shoes off and following her with the bag of candy to where they’d watch the movies. “No scary ones right?” He asked with a soft chuckle, “I scared a dickish senior off, but I wouldn’t be able to protect you from what I’m scared of too..” He said awkwardly and ran a hand through his hair, admiring the girl for a moment.

Rae looked up at the senior and sighed. “It’s okay… and yes is was a dick move,” She moved her hair out of her face. “but thank you for apologizing…” She looked down at the ground and sighed again.

The senior then nodded to her and turned away, Nico nodding toward the sidewalk listlessly and turning back to Rae. “Hey..” He whispered, hoping he’d helped a little at least. Pulling a pillow case full of candy out from behind him he gave a soft smile, holding it out for her.

Nico had finally gotten a hold on the man who was terrorizing Rae earlier. He honestly thought it was sick. Taking a character that actually exists and using it against anybody- let alone someone as sweet and occasionally fragile as Rae.

Usually Nico could never have it in him to be mean or rude to anybody, let alone a stranger. But there was no messing with his ladies; the young man would always be sure the woman in his life were safe and okay. This man had caused, not only one of his woman, but the girl he liked to fear absolutely nothing. So after a very forceful conversation with the human, he discovered it was a group of seniors.

Stepping to Rae’s doorstep the werewolf forced him to ring the doorbell and when Rae came to the door Nico shoved him forward. “I’m sorry for chasing you.. It was a dick move.” Nico shoved him again, and the terrorist dropped his mask in front of her. “I really am sorry..” The senior said, mostly afraid of the boy behind him.

Heh.. Uh… I think I’ve found him.. I’ll be by later..

um… That’s sweet. I like you too

I… Heh.. Well, yeah. What’s not to like?

You’re beautiful, brilliant, and you put up with my consistently awkward moments.. Which not many can do at all.

It’s not your flaut.

I know it’s not… But I could have prevented it, had I been there.. Most guys ask the girls the like out on Halloween..

It’s absolutely no problem at all Rae.. I wish I could have been there to stop him in the first place..
